Oz the Great: Script Book

Oz the Great is a typographic script book based on the movie "Oz the Great and Powerful." The book uses dialogue from three scenes of the movie and expresses them solely through typography. In this book, I used Baskerville ampersands to illustrate a curlique, magical environment for the world of Oz. When Oscar Diggs is putting on his fraudulent wizard persona he speaks in a bold Bely font. On the contrary, he speaks in a smaller Baskerville when he is being himself. The book begins in black and white, until Oscar transitions to the world of Oz and beautiful, magical color. These are my favorite spreads from this project!
