Mane By Olive

Mane By Olive is the name of my business I am in the process of starting. Although I am currently working with manufacturers to ensure top quality of my products before release, I am super excited about this and wanted to share the logo with you guys! My mission with Mane is to provide high quality, stylish bonnets and durags that helps girls and guys take care of their hair and feel confident while doing so. All Mane products are things I wish I had earlier in my hair journey. Made with satin, my products promote hair strength by retaining hair moisture overnight, preventing split ends, reducing frizziness, and preventing tangling.

 

Many times, I have felt like a lion with a large mane when trying to do my hair. This inspired me to center my logo around two lions embracing their natural hair, or "manes." My use of heart shapes to create these lions reinforces my message of loving your natural self and hair. I also custom-made the typeface for “Mane By Olive,” constructing blocky, bold letters to create a confident, playful, and upbeat mood- all of the things I would like my customers to feel when using my products!
